Finally getting back into golf full force. Yesterday spent a half day. Working on a few different positions of the right elbow. More up and down (perpendicular to the ground) and snug to my side to drop in the slot coming from the inside at a 2-3 degree and to create a 2-3 yard draw.
This is slightly different then the look I was experimenting with the elbows in front as that caused me to slide through the ball instead of rotating which is a huge power source. Change to make you better! If you every settle for what is okay or just enough to work you will always just be okay.

Stuck
Went 37/38 for a 75. Hit 10 fairways, 12 greens which 4 were inside 20 feet, 2/4 up and downs and 33 putts. Back to the putting green to work on 5 and 6 footers.

Time away is sometimes a good thing
After spending a week away from golf and around the family, today was a break through. My swing coach and I spent 3 hours defining and refining feelings in my golf swing. Today has been the best I have ever swung. The crazy thing it all comes down to when my left elbow folds. The golf swing is very complex but has many mirrors. In the simplest form the golf swing is back and through with 3 different planes/angles. The mental part of trusting and letting it happen is what keeps a good player from becoming a great player. Excited about this week and the confidence I can build around it. Up early for tomorrow's practice session.

11/12
I am finally enjoying the weather! Moving to FL in May I have never sweat so much for 4 month and complained about electric bills. But now it's high 75-80 low 55-60 no need for AC can spend 6 hours at the golf and not die. Also being at Rio Pinar now the scenery is gorgeous! I will be posting more photos.
My swing coach and I have been talking and after the holidays I will start playing 2-3 tournaments a month all over the Orlando area to prepare me for Q school. ( q school as if I make it through the stages I will earn my LPGA card!) Still no word from Big Break so keep the fingers crossed for me!

Change of scenery
It was time for an upgrade and I have moved home courses to Rio Pinar and so hard I love it! Everyone is so happy to introduce themselves and mention something about their son. Ha. Played 9 holes today and a little guy joined me along the way about the 7th hole. Sometimes it's fun to sit back and enjoy nature.

Struggles
Friday scrapped together a 79. My swing felt forced and out of my element. Had a great weekend away from golf. Came back Monday ready, focused, and determined to get back on track. Monday was another day of slamming clubs trying to let out frustration. Tuesday woke up dressed nice matching shirt shoes. Hit 70 terrible range shots working with foot work, left wrist, path, set up. Finally it came to me. Have to stay behind the ball. Can't lean into or low and right. If you flip the wrist to catch the hands up ur lookin high and left. Girls love to look in the mirror so I worked with a 7 iron workin on full rotation dropping the hands then powering through your shot. I never hit so many solid on target 4 irons. Just happens to be the first day of LPGA qualifying school. I got one year to score low. It all starts now!

Less hands more body
Going through my swing change I had to activate my hands and now I have to deactivate them. Non golfers might think this is a flip of a switch. Wrong! Think about hammering a nail. If you just use your wrist no power. If you use your whole arm more power but less control. So you might had a little wrist flick to make sure the hammer hits the nail and not your finger. in the golf swing if u try to guide ball bad thins happen. So been working on my shoulder plane and keeping my right shoulder high to avoid the club from getting stuck behind me. Once I master this I could be the best long iron player eliminating the right push out an also creating an anti right shot. Right now it's a battle but when I'm all connected at the right moment. Wow a powerful swing!
